By September 26, 2016, holders of European trademarks before 19 June 2012 and covering the classes of heads may file an amended declaration to specify the products and services they wanted to appoint more products and services class header. After this six-month period, European brands will be interpreted as protected exclusively for the intended indications.
What is a "class head"?
The "classes heads" are references reproduced to indicate the areas of application classes in which the smarques are deposited.
Thus, class 03 covers both "the Grade" them: Bleaching preparations and other substances for laundry use; cleaning, polishing, scouring and abrasive preparations; soaps; perfumery, essential oils, cosmetics, hair lotions; dentifrices. It therefore passes from the laundry to cosmetics, which do not have much in common!
Class 45 includes in turn both "legal services" that "security services for the protection of property and individuals" or "personal and social services rendered by others to meet the needs of individuals.". Again, nothing in common between a good and avoat a bodyguard or a nanny!

Are concerned CTM filed before June 22, 2012 and international trade marks designating the EU registered before June 22, 2012 that cover an entire class header of the Nice Classification.
What do we need to do ?
You can amend your registration in order to clearly determine the sproduits and services to cover for that class and that are not already clearly covered by the literal meaning of the words of the title of the class.
