It thus prohibits Chinese and foreign producers to use the name Champagne or its Chinese transliteration on bottles sold in China.<\/p>\n<p> &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> The success of the registration of the collective mark Champagne strengthens the protection of the name in China.<\/p>\n<p> Holders of a collective mark will be able to file a complaint with their Administration for Industry and Commerce ( AIC) to a local entry is made &#8203;&#8203;against the alleged infringer.<\/p>\n<p> AIC has the power to order the infringing party to cease operations immediately , it may also order the confiscation and destruction of the infringing goods or equipment used to make them , or even impose a fine if the violation is considered important .
